CHOIR NOTES The Adult Choir of St. Paul of Tarsus will begin rehearsing for the new choir season this Thursday, September 13 at 7:00 pm in the church. The Adult Choir sings at most Sunday 9:30 am liturgies, as well as special feast days and liturgical occasions. We welcome back our returning members, as well as invite new members to join us that evening. If you love to sing good music and have been considering taking part in the music ministry at St. Paul’s, this is a great opportunity to give us a try. We hope to see many familiar and new faces on Thursday at 7:00 pm for our first fall rehearsal! Phyllis Bengry and Susan Catanese Minister of Music and Choir Director

Music Ministry

Adult Choir

The Adult Choir usually sings at the 9:30am Sunday Liturgy from September to June.  They also sing at major feast days of the Church including Christmas, Holy Week, and Easter.  To be a member you should be able to match pitch with other singers in the group, have some musical knowledge, training or background, and a strong desire to lead the congregatrion in liturgical music.  The Adult Choir facilitates the community's song-prayer.  They are not there to perform a concert during the liturgy; rather they are there to enhance and enrich the prayer life of the Body of Christ, our parishioners.  The choir meets for rehearsal on Thursdays from 7pm-9pm during the months of September - June.  If you are interested in becoming a member of the adult choir, please contact our Music Minister, Phyllis Bengry at 586-228-1210 ext. 122 or at email:
